Naznin Hasan Chumki started her theatre career as a member of Arindam Sangskritik Sangathan, Chuadanga since 1992. She joined Desh Natak in 1996 and is still active. She is also a committee member of the 2024-2026 committee of this theater.

On stage, she has acted in plays such as Madhurenu Samapoyet, Peter Bish, Akhono Eai Deshe, Loha, Nitya Puran, Birsa Kabyo, Jalbasar, Shuchona, Sitaar Agniporikkha and others. Sitaar Agniporikkha is a play she directed and acted in. Apart from Desh Natak, she has experience working in theatres such as Sadhana, Stage One Dhaka and other institutions.

She won the National Award for Best Actress in 2006 and the Meril Prothom Alo Critics' Award for Best Film Actress in 2013. She was honored among a few solo female actresses at an awards ceremony organized by the Kanchkhola Theater in 2024.

Naznin Hasan Chumki is ‍also an active media personality. She is not only an actress but also a scriptwriter, director, anchor and model.

In 1999 she made her debut on TV. Her script writing career started from 2003 and started to give direction from 2012.

Previously, she was a committee member of the Television Playwright Association of Bangladesh and served as the Joint General Secretary of Actors Equity Bangladesh from February 2022 to 2025.

Her hobbies are reading, traveling, watching plays in theaters, and watching movies.

She is the daughter of Daud Hossain Joarder and Nazma Banu. Chuadanga, Khulna Division is her birthplace. She currently resides in Dhaka city due to marital and professional reasons with Ahmed Pasha.
